Beetroot & Yogurt Dip (Beetroot Borani) Recipe

Ingredients:
Serves 4-6
 
2-3 small-size beetroots
2 cups plain yogurt
Dash of salt
1 tablespoon sugar
 
Method:
 
Place beets in a pan, add a cup of water, cook on medium-low heat for about an hour until it softens.
Remove the pan from heat and set aside to cool.
Remove the skin, cut into small bite-size pieces or coarsely the beets using a food processor or a hand grater.
Combine yogurt, beets, salt and sugar. Mix well. Refrigerate for a couple of hours.
Serve cold.
